I shouldn't be posting this any time I post a progress thread the kit gets shelved, but I did get some cool number panel from MidMazar so I feel like I should post it up.
I'm trying to make a Time Attack Integra like what you'd see running at the Redline Time Attack events. I'm modeling it off the Sportcar Motion car, sort of, but I wanted the hood, hatch, and fenders in CF and the car a dark gray that it sort of blends into. It's not meant to be super detailed, just sort of detailed and fun, so I didn't use the Hi-Def CF decal. I struggled with just the flat stuff, anyway. Oh well. I'm looking at the rules for Redline Time Attack and building it for Street Tire class. Here's what I have so far.

Here's the overall of the car. Big splitter, CF components, I'm using the Gathers Integra interior, I think. Thanks, MidMazar, for the decals! They're exactly what I needed and 81 is the number I autocross with so I'm mega happy!

I cast the slicks from the Gathers kit in resin, and I'm sanding them down at an angle to get the aggressive racing camber while still having the tire flat on the ground, this will be tricky to make work during final assembly.

Interior parts - I smoothed the dash where the controls and vents were, and will be covering that with CF, as well as where the instrument cluster goes. I've made a little AiM Sports style instrument cluster, and will be making a datalogger with the decal from a 1:12 motorcycle. Using spares box parts for the interior, I don't want to use my trick, new old stock SAS seats for this one. I'm still wondering what to do about the passenger seat. Oh well.
Comments, crits welcome, as always, please.

I'm still wondering what to do about the passenger seat. Oh well.
What the heck do you need a passenger seat for!??:evillol: Hehe.
Looks like it's coming along nicely. I like your idea of shaping the slicks, as well as your STACK type instrument cluster. Looking forward to seeing the results.
BTW, what size are those wheels? I thought the Gathers Integra came with the 15 or 16"? (Hence the slicks would be a different size). I know those wheels are not the ones that come with it, but jut wondering what size they were.

The CF on the fenders and hood turned out nicely!
I like the look of the slicks also!
Keep up the good work, I'm watching from now on!

4-5.7 Passenger seat may be replaced with an alternate seat of equal or greater quality/functionality of the installed driver seat. Refer to Section 2-8 for drivers seat rules.
The wheels are 15" or 16". When I cast the slicks, they shrank, and I had to sand the inside of the tires to fit, but they're essentially the same size as he Gathers wheels. They're the Tarmac TE37s so they're about right.
Thanks guys

Wow that looks cool. The front lip looks nice, but i have to say the cf really drew me in. I like where this is going, and no prob on the decals. At least your putting them to use.

I can relate to having a wip posted and then have it sort of end up in limbo. I like your idea of sanding down the tire and still have them flat on the pavement. Also, I like the idea that you are consulting the rulebook for this project. Really adds alot of background to your work. Looking forward to more.

Realy nice proyect.. I love T.A. cars too, I'd do Roger Clark's Impreza when I finish all my current proyects..
Are you going to do a roll-cage? Or the Gathers inside has got one.. ???
I'll wait for news here..

For a second I thought the whole car was wrapped in carbon!
Loving the splitter and choice in wheels too.
