Well I made up my mind, this upcoming Monday I am going to enlist in the United States Marines. Since I am 17 and still in high school i'll have to go through the DEP and once high school is over 13 weeks of hell! Just thought I would let everyone know. Peace

just know, that yea sure u get paid alright and its something to do but realize when u sign u give up your rights to decisions about your life direction for the next 4 years, i was enlisted in the navy and backed out after i took a trip to san diego and talked to peeps in the navy, just some friendly advice, make sure its really what you want to do.

Dude Joining the military is the worst thing you could do. I did not i regret it. I joined the coast guard. Now i kick my self in the ass everyday. I couldn't pay for college like i wanted and got booted after a year and a half. Unless your gonna be homless or you see being a McDonalds fry cook in your future stay away from the recruiter.
