Need help on making emblems!?!?!?!

Hey guys, I need some help. A few months ago there was a thread, it was called something like "Your favorite tutorials" or something. And there was a tutorial on how to make emblems for a model. you take some foil and so on..... So I tried to search for it but I can't find it. Can somebody tell me what the thread is called if U remember or tell me how to do those emblems (with pics if possible).
