Inner tie rods going, going, gone again.

HELLO. :banghead:My 06 GT is losing the inner tie rods again. GM replaced them under warranty the first time. They seem to go out suddenly at 18-20k. mi. on a regular interval. This time the od says 39k. Has anyone heard of GM having a bad run of these parts? What aftermarket units woud be the best to use as replacements? MOOG, TRW, ETC.??? I do not think stock is the way to go this time.

How was it determined the inner tie rods on the rack and pinion unit are bad? Seems strange for low mileage. Was it during an alignment check? What driveability issues(s) are you having? Any wheel shimmy, vibration or loose steering?
