i have a 95 protege obd1 and jumped the wires ten to grd and light stays on what does this mean:banghead:

if your trying to reset your light, everyone's been telling me to just pull the negative cable on the battery for about a half hour, and put it back on.. probably be better then jumping wires to reset the light..

as for the light staying on I am not sure.. have you taken the car down and having it tested with an OBD1 reader?

if it's posting a code, and for good reason, it might pop back on because the sensor is faulting out... so best bet is to go get it checked out first..
