1990 wont start when warm

4 cyl 4x4 5 speed. Starts right up no problem after I drive it for a while and it warms up it won't start again till it cools all the way down. It just cranks and cranks untill it floods. I can still push start it tho.. after about 2 hours of cool down it will start right up. The only other problem it has that might me related is there's a dead spot in the gas pedal right at the sweet spot for keeping steady speed.

read the codes...and check actuators..
