97 saab se , cant get conv. top to latch

Hey there folks, I just bought a 1997 Saab 900se turbo and i cant figure out how to get the convertible top to latch down, not at the windshield, but below the rear window where the 2 latches point down. Any clues?:cool:

have you figured this out? sorry it has been a long time since i have been to the site!
