Finally got this model done. I got a lot of painting troubles with the original Blitz 2005 livery. After masking the windowmasks all paint came with the tape.... so I had to put it in brakefluid and start again. But this time my own version, cause I had no more decals.

Paint is Zero Paints Mugello Blue Pearl (Audi R8 paint) and clearcoated with 2K Clear. This is also polished in the end with micromesh polishset.

Today I made some final pics:

So that's it!
Firt I'd like to say this kit is very nice to build. Only fitment problems are the headlight glasses, but this can be done by any modeller. The only problem with Aoshima kits are the decals. The are to crispy and imidiataly broke into thousends of pieces. First I puzzled a while to fit them on the body, but after messing up my paintjob it was all done for nothing.... But I still love the looks of the model now. It was a bit tricky to use several decals, but I tried to keep a bit of a colorsheme. In the end the results look good I think and it could be a real D1 driter in my opinion....

Here's a short list of accesoires I used:

- Scale Motorsport High Definition carbon decals
- sorted sponsor decals
- Fujimi Nissan GTR brake discs
- Scale Production brake calipers
- Scale Production seatbelt material
- Scale Production sportseats
- Hobby Design PE racingharness
- PE tachotrims
- Zero Paints Mugello Blue Pearl (audi r8) paint

Thanks for watching, and I'll start on my new project very soon!

Kris.
