the compressor on my 99 Mustang will not engage the low and high pressure switches have power through them but no power to the comp. I was looking around and have found that the computer could be bad. There is one under the hood and one in the cabin witch one is it? what is the proper name for each? is there a way to fix?:banghead:

There is no computer under the hood; there is a fuse box under the hood. Have you checked buses both under the hood and in the cabin? The only computer I'm aware of is in the kick panel on the passenger's side and I would highly doubt that is the culprit if you are not getting power to the compressor. More likely a fuse or a relay somewhere.
Good luck........

I have found my problem it was the Constant Control Relay Module. It was under the hood and looked like a small computer in the fender wall the relays are in it and not able to replace individual relays only the whole thing $50 at junk yard. According to what I have read common problem with them. I took my old one to work and the electrician is gonna look into replacing relays

The AC relay in the CCRM has a soldering defect. They have been known for the joint to crack out. Solder it up again and it will be good as new again.
