I have a 93 suburban with the code showing for the egr valve showing, so I replaced the egr valve and the EGR solenoid, I disconnected the battery over night then connected the battery in the morning and everything was fine till on the way home the light came on again. I ran the code again same code
EGR. What else can it be. Can anyone help me out?

the EGR passageways may be plugged.
if your vehicle has a EGR control valve , check the vacuum lines, replace control valve..

Take a vacuum pump, or live vacuum line and take it to the egr valve and see if the engine runs rough or stall. That way you can confirm to erg valve and passageways.
