a/c blows cold then warm,why?

my wife has an 93 civic her a/c blows cold but at the same time it gets warm...shes not low in freon...but its just weired how cold it be...the all of a sudden it blows warm..like the compresser is going out but i knew someone with the same problem and they even bought a new compresser and still the same problem!!!
