98 blazer climate control not working

Hey Guys,
On my 98 blazer, the a/c and heat works great but if i set the temp and put the unit on auto it will not control. Just blows until u are sweating or freezing. I have the dash out putting in a heater core and thought now was the time to try and fix this..
Any Ideas?
