So my regulator is hosed and when it went (or maybe what caused it to go off track) so did the platic tab that is glued to the window...my question is do I have to buy a whole new window or is there some way to remove the broken tab and window apoxy a new one in? And if there is a way to remove it without breaking the glass do tell. Thanks in advance.

GM sells these clips, around $12-18 and you need glass epoxy.
To remove the old one(s), use a chisle of standard screw driver, or other flat edge tool. Yeah not a lot of room in there to work.
Tap it lightly with a hammer with the tool as paralel to the glass as possible, and it should pop right off... should. lol
These do need to cue/dry for at least 24hrs befor reattaching everything or they'll come lose.

yes i had the same problem...i used a utility knife and a screwdriver...takes some patience....i worked on one side ant it came off farily easy...but the other side was a bogger to get off....i done fine without a screwdriver..one note, i used a marker to mark the position the old ones was in before i rmoved them so my holes would line up with the trac....it would suck if you done all that and you had the new tabs too far over!! I went to a local guy that sales a lot of used gm vehicles and got them pretty cheap...hope this helps.

Did you need to take the window glass out of the door to do this work? I got my new sash clips and ave to do this. Have you got a brand name and # for some equivalent epoxy? I don't want to pay $24 from a dealer.
Thanks
Matt

UPDATE: Well I got mine fixed. I used #3500 psi epoxy by Permatex. I cut the old one with my cut off tool. So far so good.
