turbo question

I have been wanting to put a turbo in my 97 jetta 2.0 gt. i have no idea of what turbo to get or what size. i dont want it to wind up too quick but i dont want it to be really high rmp either. Would a tdo5 work on it or would that be too big and blow my motor? help pease!
