Hey guys. I'm from the Jeep forum and I am about to sell my Jeep with close to 200,000 miles on it and pick up a 2004 Lincoln Town Car Signature with 57,000 miles on it for $11,000. I used to own a 1995 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series and I loved it. I got rid of it with over 200,000 miles on it because I needed someone that could handle the snowy climate at Penn State. Now that I am graduating, I am parting ways with my Jeep and going back to Lincoln.
All I want to know is if there is anything I should look out for before I purchase it. I am very good with cars and know what to check when it comes to purchasing any car. Does this model year town car have any issues I should know about or that could happen? How is the reliability on them?
I just want some general information on this car. I am buying it from my ex-girlfriend because her father died and she took ownership once he passed away. He bought it back in 2006 so I would be the third owner. Thanks a lot in advanced.

I'm a man of my word, Steve!
Yeah I used the old Jeep for 3 years and put about 50,000 miles on it (bought it with 130,000 miles on it) Perfect for the snowy Penn State Climate I lived in being it is a 4x4. But it now it has almost 180,000 miles and I just had to replace the fuel pump, crank sensor, cam sensor, tune up, brakes, tie rod and drag link, and after doing all that, I think it is time to get rid of her.
But wow, did I come across a REAL nice 2004 Lincoln Town Car. As long as everything goes as planned, I should have it in two or three weeks. So we'll see what happens! If all is good, then I'll be back here!

Hi Sean
Good to have you back. I upgraded my 91 to a 94 model. I traded the 94 off this spring. Still have the 91 but it's a parts car now. Do you still have the T- bird in the garage?
