Need a little more info on your truck. What year and such?
Typically when brakes drag, there is either a caliper stuck or something hanging it up. What I've experienced in the past with my 03's is that the glides where the pad "tabs" slide through get rusted into place. Then the pads stick in their places, and will wind up hanging. I took a hammer/chisel and broke off all of the rust buildup, then put a light coating of caliper grease on the slides. There is a hardware shim that goes in there - take it out and clean them grooves out. The pads should not be too tight to move by hand, but should have a little resistance to keep them from rattling. Good luck.
