Great looking model. I still think this model captures the look of the 512 longtail much better than the Hiro kit.

Excellent build! Like the added little details also, really add to the finished model. So glad Fisher is back making car models again, he makes some of the nicest resin kits available.

Hi and sorry for being so late in the answer. Many thanks for all your comments, very appreciated!

gtziaf > when building vintage racer I do not clearcoat the color and neither the decals. In this case we have all lacquers: primer + white + red + final polishing

It's beautiful to see you ride the gravy train again.
It's very impressive to see your works: they are very very very good. You didn't lose your hand.
I would be glade to see your works on the modellismo italian site again: a lot of italian gonna love it (and love you) ... and ... yes: I'll write in italian :grinyes:

Non so se mi sono capito :grinyes: ... nel caso scriverò in italiano.
Max

P.S. oh yes: how did you made the side number tables. Did they are in the kit? ... I've never seen them. Thanks

Great build of the Fisher 512. His Porsche 917/30 is his best kit ever...wish more people would build that kit and post it here...

Hi and thanks again for your further comments.

Max > the red strips on the number plates are made of electric insulating red tape

gtziaf > sorry, but I do not have wip/interior photos
