Navigation Question - 97 Acura RL

I need to replace my degraded old navigation screen. It has cracks on the plastic lens around all the edges. Is the 2000 RL CD system plug compatable with my existing system harnesses. If so this would be the best time to upgrade to a supported mapping system.
Does anyone know if the 97 harness is plug compatable with the 2000-2004 system?
