I can't figure out to get the rear view mirror off the windshield. All the other ones I have removed from other vehicles just used a small screw. The rodeo has a small hole on the bottom and no matter what I do I can't get it off.

I Really need to get this off, it makes a rattling noise when the radio is playing and is driving me nuts!

Finally figured it out:

Take a hammer and hit the bottom of the bracket and it will pop off. There is just a small spring that holds it on.

Be careful to not hit your windshield while doing it.
