My wifes 2003 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ that has 96,000 miles on it and it bogs out and stalls at a stop, sometimes while trying to press on the gas pedal to go. After it stalls, I get a message saying that "oil pressure low". I just really need to get this fixed a.s.a.p. She drives around with our 9 month old daughter in the truck and I bought this for their safety. Please help me? I was reading some blogs about the CAM POSITION ACTUATOR SOLENOID? If I change this, will my problem stop? Please let me know if anyone can help me. There is also a CAM ACTUATOR SENSOR. Which do I replace? How do I solve this problem? We just had a 100,000 mile service & tuneup done as well.

Can't just do what you " heard" the issue was. First you need to have the actual oil pressure tested using an external gage, if ok then the gage or sender is bad, if not ok that is a real concern. As for the stalling have a full scan done, if all shows good clean the throttle body.

I have already cleaned the throttle body, full tuneup, cleaned injectors...

If the pcm thinks or see low o/p it will cut engine power to save it, start there and a scan.

Did the full tune up include a good full engine capable scan and fuel pressure check?
If not then it was not a good full tune up or service.

Any engine codes or check engine lights on?
What all was done on tune up?
What brand of parts used?
Why and how was injectors cleaned?

Is the low oil pressure light only coming on after engine stall?
If so that is normal because oil pressure goes down after stall.

He did not do a full engine capable scan? or fuel pressure check? I just had my mechanic clean the throttle body, the injectors(he used some can injector cleaner), I had him put new AC Delco plugs. No codes anymore. He connected a scanner under my dashboard to read codes but there were none. There is a check engine soon light on now and the "oil pressure low" message comes on after it stalls before I restart the truck. It was a good friend of mine that is a mechanic that did the work. I did not ask him to do a full tuneup, I just asked him to check the plugs and they were ready to be changed. They had the factory blue marks on the plugs.

As Maxwedge said you need a full engine scan.
A good scanner check of all sensor readings and past or history codes should point you to the problem and give you a idea of fuel pressure problems.
If it shows any problems post back.
