whenever im at a stop and start accelerating i can feel hesitation (ex: while pushing the gas pedal im not getting expected idle) not always but often...sometimes it might give a slight jerk, but then the driving goes back to normal

i just bought this 92 s10 blazer 4.3 v6 almost 2 months ago and i have changed oil/filter and fuel filter few days ago...spark plugs still look new..air filter sorta dirty so i took it out and tested no change
this is fuel injected and i dont know much about these things.. so any ideas?

other than this problem the car drives great

Do you still have the original Delphi wires in it? Mine did that after I changed the wires and plugs. I used Bosh wires and auto lite plugs and the problem started. I got myself a new set of delphi wires and it fixed it. Take a look at it at night ans see if you can see any blue sparks from the wires. You can control the throttle by hand to push the rpm's up and see if it is shorting out somewhere. "like when you take off from a stop"

was driving one day and muffler came off...so replaced it and seems to drive alot better than before (better acceleration) but still has hestitation ..was told catalytic converter was clogged and may be my problem for hesitation (it does seem to drive bad after the converter seems to warm up so fingers crossed) so i plan on fixing that in a couple of weeks...will post results then
funny..i never thought about the catalytic converter to be my problem and would never have if the muffler didnt fail:smile:
