2001 mustang v6 high idle

2001 Mustang V6 high idle problems, idles at 1200 sitting still, runs 45mph down highway without touching accelerator.

Check for a stuck IAC valve. It's located on the intake plenum. Sometimes tapping it with a hammer will unstick it. You can easily remove it and try cleaning it out with carb/TB cleaner, too.

Also check for vacuum leaks.
