i have a 2000 ls sport dose it have 14mm or 16mm front lower ball joints and what would the torque spec be thanks

Since the service manual expects you to replace the knuckle with the ball joint as an assembly it doesn't break out the torque spec for the ball joint separately. I believe the torque spec you are after is:
Suspension lower arm-to-knuckle nut - 150 Nm, 111 Lb-Ft

As for the ball joint tapered stud size, I'm not sure. I have a couple of new ones in the garage for a 2002 LS. Are you ordering by application or trying to pick something from a catalog? I wasn't aware there were two different sizes of lower ball joints available for the LS.

-Rodthanks but some say its a 14mm and some say 16mm i bought some on ebay and they only lasted 5 months each so i got this one at rockauto an i hope it last longer the stuff i got off of ebay they suck and they are 14mm after 02 they are 16mm
