For a dutch groupbuild I build this Revell Corvette 427 convertible. We had a movie theme, so any model which is seen in a movie was allowed. I had chosen the movie Con Air where this corvette drives in :)

That's it!
I enjoyed building this kit, but however there are a few problems with it. First the hood doesn't close, if you build it like the instructionguide tells you. The radiator must be replaced forward, so the hood can be closed.
The other problem is the window fitment. The frontwindow doesn't fit in the chrome windowframe. There is also not surface for glue!
Overall this is a good looking kit, and got some nice details!
The kit was build OOB, but I managed to put some extra details in it like:
- Scale Production PE licenseplate frames
- Scale Production licenseplates
- Scale Production magazine
- silver/black interiorflocking
- Mr. Hobby wire looms
- sparkplug wiring

Nice, I like it! The Revell kit looks like a good one, I thought the Corvette on Con Air was Silver, I may be wrong though. Yours looks excellent anyway!

I searched the internet for the right color and there are just 2 colors produced by Chevrolet which are both blue. One of them is a bit like ice blue, so I used that. In the movie you can also see some blue shots. It's just the angle of light and sun which confuses me :D Correct or not, the color still suits the car very well i.m.o. :)

Looks superb! I cringed when the one on the film got smashed to bits!
Your project made me buy one! (a model not a real one)!
