Beyond frustration with sensor codes

Ok right to it. 02 hx coupe 2.0. Car was just fine. Got in a bang up a yr ago. Front end damaged quite a bit but not engine wise. Sat for about 45days before the garage got to fixing it. 5500 later, the thing runs like a pos. Evn aftr th accident, it was mostly drivable, and certainly ran fine. It sat during winter months, in vermont, so it was cold. Get it back last April and it is craziness. I was getting a code saying that the fuel/air ratio system had a prob. And everywhere says that that is the o2 sensor. Ok so it went back to the same garage, not my decision, and they supposidly replaced it with another one, and then another one when that didn't work, then said they had no clue. It constantly surges while driving. Worse up hill, morning, and cold. But it's as consistent as a clocks second hand. Just skip and sputtering everywhere. So now it's April of next yr and the inspection is due and I, this time, am trying to figure the stupid thing out still. Got codes last night. P1167, p0171, p1164. Ok, certainly don't tell me much. Is it the o2 sensor? Coils? Plugs? Tps sensor? I'm getting plugs now but nothing is ever that simple with me and cars. Anything to help would be much appreciated. Thanks:banghead:

you may have already had this suggestion, but see if you can find someone to perform a smoke test on the emission system..sound more like a vacuum leak ..you might even have a loose ground along the core support..
i hope this helps

No. Hasn't been mentioned. I looking for as many suggestions as possible. Need every one until it's fixed. Thank you though. I will see if I get any where with. Thanks

I don't think a vacuumm leak would generate your 3 codes.
You should verify the upstream (#1) sensor WAS replaced. If it visually looks new then carefully inspect the harness from the connector to the firewall. If the sensor is new then I would guess one of the four wires to the ECM are open or shorted.
