has any1 heard of a "Zimmer"? my friend saw 1 the other day. he said it only said Zimmer. it looked kind of like a camero.

Zimmer built cars in the 1980s and early 1990s. Early cars were "neo-classics" where they used modern drivelines but looked like classic cars of the 1930s (long, sweeping front fenders, running boards, etc).

I think the car you're talking about is the Zimmer Quicksilver. The Quicksilver was based on the Pontiac Fiero. The stretched the wheelbase in front of the driver and restyled the front to include a chrome bumper and grille.

Why do I immediately think of a retired district manager of a chain of shoe stores, living in Florida?

That looks like an old Shelby front end with a new Mustang body... Pretty ugly IMO.
