A few days ago my car wouldn't start. Replaced the fuel pump and it ran great all day yesterday. Went out this morning to start it and same thing is happening, it turns over but won't fire. Security light isn't flashing, it's solid when I turn key and goes out after a few seconds when turning over. All other lights go out also after a few seconds. I lost my manual and don't know the engine size (think it's a 4 cyl.)

Welcome to the forum
Does your fuel pump run for a couple of seconds when you turn your key to the run position?
As far as a owners manual you can get a free copy of one here>>> http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/owners-manual/pontiac_owner_manuals.html

Checked that, and it's fine.

And how do I do that? I don't have any tools whatsoever. Is there any other way to do it?

do you have a 4cyl ecotec, if so you will need a 10mm socket to take the coil pack out , its on top of the motor held down with 4 bolts, one at each corner. once that is out , pull one of the plugs and put it in the coil pack and lay it on the vavle cover , have someone crank it wile you watch for spark

might wanna check the fuel pump relay as well...had an issue where the relay worked intermittently and eventually gave me the same problem your experiencing.
