Value of such parts is a crap-shoot, and varies from one part of the country to another.
The "462s" are 327 heads, probably 1.94" intake valves and about a 64 CC chamber. Check the date code and advertise them for restorers. Contrary to popular "belief", "double hump" (327) heads are NOT "the best" small block heads. Fine for smaller displacements, they were rendered obsolete in 1969 with the introduction of "041".
The 186s and 487Xs are good "stock" heads. The local circle track racers scrounge everywhere for the 487s and 487Xs. It's "said" they were the heads on the L-82 "Corvette" engines of the mid-to-late '70s, perhaps as late as '82. They're 1.94 intakes, 76 CC chambers.
There are two versions of "882". One is a "heavy wall" and the other, "thin wall". The former is a good, tough head. Flow is okay, nothing to write home about. The latter will crack if you get a hair dryer near it... Both are 1.94" intakes, except in SOME "heavy duty" applications where the 1.72" intake was used (those also have a 3/8" diameter valve stem on the exhaust, unlike all the rest with 11/32"). The first 4 digits of the casting number will determine which is which.
450 is a 305 head. No real "market".
We (shop) generally will pay around $100-150 for a pair, "bare" and guarenteed "no cracks". Certain castings (like the 462s) are worth far more to a restorer than a "performance" shop.
