Hey everybody, this I my first post, just had one question. Is there any difference between a GS-R master cylinder and any of the other Integra m\c? It's the last thing I need for my swap, any info is greatly appreciated.

thats pretty tricky ... on the one hand they are all B-series. On the other hand the GS-R has vtec, while other integra models dont ... I dunno what to tell you man

Has anyone used the regular integ m\c on a drum to disc conversion? I'm having trouble finding a GS-R m\c. I'm goin on a hunt @ the junk yards this weekend to find one.

look on the master cyl and find what size it is like 19/32 or 5/8 i don't think it matters, just that the bigger they are the better. i went from a civic dx to a integra ls and my braking was much better

I just finished my rear disc swap and i am still using my DX Master cylinder and brake proportioning valve. I have a slightly brake problem anyways thats yet to be found, but they seem to work okay

because u HAVE TO USE a CRX 90-91 Si MC or a 90-91 Civic 4d EX MC both will work fine and are a dirrect bolt in i use that exact same MC on my hatch with a rear disk upgrade and it works like a brand new car :) trust me its the right one u dont need to swap out the prop valve unless u swap out the booster and the mc off a 90-93 teg ls/gs/gsr dont get the 94+ it will be a pain in the ass more soo than the 90-93 teg (i know cuz i have tried it on a CRX it was a pain in the ass BIG TIME)

Did you swap out the brake booster and proportioning valve as well? Mines a DX that's why I ask, I already have the prop valve, just need to know which m\c to use.

heres a link to another guy who did the rear disc swap and kept his DX master cylinder.. he did say however that when he upgraded finally to a larger master cylinder, braking power was noticeably better.

so no, you dont HAVE to use an upgraded master cylinder, provided that u bleed the lines and have good pads, the discs will stop shorter than the drums, but having the upgraded master cylinder is a good idea.

Ok, here's my big question:
Is there any way to keep the ABS when you rip parts of an Integra and install them on the 4G?

no, i didn't change the booster, but like it was said, its a pain to put a 94+ integra mc on a civic or crx but you can do it and its better i think. I just used the crx si mc for awhile, but i found a gsr mc at a junkyard for nothing and i got it to fit.

my advise is to go with the crx si prop valve and mc. its wicked easy to do
