Studio27 Zero Sports GC8

Hey. This is actually a resin transkit for a long-gone line of Studio27 model kits as I found out from Hiroaki (thanks for the info! :cool:) I've had it for years and decided that I was either gonna make it fit the Fujimi kit or get rid of it. I decided to see if I had the skills to make it fit. I'm not much for a bunch of talking so I'll let the accompanying pictures tell the story in chronological order...

I like what I see! I wonder what the creator of the transkit would think upon seeing it all chopped up? :D

All I can say is sweet! The colour suits the impreza and I like the bodykit. Well Done! Can't wait to see it finished!

Nice progress. You got more than enough skills to pull this one off. Body and paint came out really good.

As far as these resin kits, not only the s27 but aoshima and fujimis all don't fit. Most of them have to be widened, and altered in some way to fit. Almost every kit i have i have to cut them up to have them fit. The metal ones fit okay, but still nees major clean up.

Thanks guys :). This transkit was originally intended for a line of curbside resin kits produced by Studio27. I haven't seen any of them but I kept looking at the transkit and figured I'm either gonna build it or be afraid of it. Thanks again! Hopefully, I'll have more updates soon. :sunglasse

Wow, cool stuff Tonio! You always bust out these rare(r) kits and transkits and wheels and it's such a cool treat! You've done a great job getting the transkit to fit. I find it surprising that the S27 curbside kits and the Fujimi ones would be so different dimensionally. Great work as always.

Hi. The body has been cleared. Actually the body is completely finished; I just need to finish the interior. I'm debating whether or not to build a rollcage for it. Not that the 1:1 would necessarily NEED one but might look cool.
