If you want to change your user name, then you'll need to email (or PM) Igor. I have no trouble uploading pictures. Are you useing http://www.automotiveforums.com/upload/ to do that or some other place hosting them?

You need to type the full path of the pic. Or browse and find it on your HDD.

HDD refers to your hard drive. The path is that c:\<directory name>\<filename>.jpg that you want to upload. When you do a browse you'll see the following

http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/981973Search.jpg

Click on the folder that represents your directory and then in there the next directory (until you find the location with the filename you are looking for. Just double click on the filename when you find it and viola - you'll be ready to upload.

If you know where the file is but don't understand the pathing. By going into its properties (right click on the item and select the "properties" option) and you'll see the path as part of its description.

I doubt you're stupid at all, just unfamiliar with moving around a PC. You may want to take a tutorial on traversing Windows (assuming you are on a PC and not an Apple) Try this location to get underway. http://www.calvin.edu/academic/rit/tutorial/os/navigate_folders.htm
