Have primed the body after stripping of the prepaint. It´s the 1st layer of primer, some sanding have been done. I have done much mod´s with the chassis. The suspension setup was way to high. I cut of 4mm of front and rear suspension for the correct ride hight !!!

And this is how the interior looks like. The body will be painted in Steringsilver and the option for that color is red/black in M version.

I've got one of those kits too, and the glass is glued in so tight that I don't think it will come out. The liquid glue used goes right up to the edge. I think I can get the rear window out okay, but the windshield/side glass I'm afraid will have to be masked. Any suggestions?

Glad to see someone building this model! I'm going to build mine like the last M Coupe ever produced, which is on display at the BMW Zentrum in Spartanburg, SC. It's white w/black and white interior, and BMW-checkered flag graphics on the front and rear corners of the car. Very neat!

Hi, I began with Tamiya XF-19 Sky grey to make a good base and to aviod translumination of the redcolor. Then I use Tamiya XF-7 Flat red. Airbrush all paint. This was done on the prepainted flatblue color.

Well, it´s rather boring to strip of the prepainted parts. But it´s a typically Dragon/Revell kit. You have to do some mod´s to make it look realistic. It´s not like Tamiya BMW Z-3, superb kit!!! I suggest using the Tamiya kit and swap the rims roof and rear end, exhaust and seats from this Revell kit. If you can accept all that is a great kit.

Does some one if this kit is availible without prepainted parts???

Here´s a closer shot. This kit has several missaligments. I had to refit the dashboard, it was to much on the left.

Clean and pretty, plus it's unique. All the things I like in a model. Good show so far.
