ok i have a 1900 z71 that has 35's on it and i realize 4x4 is not supposed to be run on regular roads but i ran it today it it felt weird like it was draging or running into a curb or just lagging it engages fine but just feels weird any clues to whats wrong

It's going to do that on pavement.. As long as you don't hear any banging or weird noises then everything is working just fine.

unless you rotate your tires very often , and they are exactly worn all the same amount ,,you will get issues like yours ..

the drive train should not be operated on solid pavement because it will damage / wear the drive train rapidly ...operating with tires of different wear even if not in 4wd on your vehicle is not recommended..
