98 electric window question=--

this is follow-up. i already asked about my drivers window raises with a jerking motion. question= is it sometimes the window electric motor itself or is it usually the control switch on the door. i see door control switches, new, after market, for about $60. on the net.

do you have a tester? you can test to see if the motor sends out current.. if so then go with the switch... but in MHO.. I would bank on it being the motor.. let us know..mine is shot on the passenger side has been for a couple of years
