It has been a long time since my last completed project, over a year. This project was started over 4.5 years ago. It was worth the wait, cause I'm pretty happy with it.
The top was chopped off, and the convertible cover was scratch-built. The colors are Tamiya Mica Red, and Metallic Black. The interior is a custom mix of tan, and black with some metallic bits here and there.
I used aftermarket 20" wheels, and some resin Brembo brakes/rotors. EJAN emblems were used on the nose, wheels, and steering wheel. The metallic scripts are Crazy Modeler parts.

Absolutely beautiful built! Having completed Revell Scag, I know how hard it was for me to have flawless fitment on the hood and rear diffuser. It was certainly worth the 4.5 years!

Nice work! Looks like professional chop job! Not sure about the transition of red to black above the rear lights. I might have lcarried the line horizontally across and left the trunk lid black below the character line that is positioned above the cavillino.

Hi Matt,
the convertible conversion really adds to the lines of the otherwise (stock) odd 612 shape.
Nicely done, excellent craftmanship and great painting!
Cheers

Wow, it looks fabulous! Good idea, and the execution is also great. Really like the 2 tone paint, both colors are good choice and the interior suits as well, so do the rims, I like it very much overall!

Very nice. Maybe darker wheel centers. I'm always second guessing my color choices though.
