just got 91 park ave that had a stripped bolt on neg.batt. when it would work loose it was causing on/off/on/off/on batt.connection......from some web searches it seems that now the ECU may be cooked. i was Lucky enough to find identical model 1992 P.A. at u pull it and get the ECU. is there anything besides disconnecting neg. batt. cable to installing this, and can I just swap out the entire unit? also, the stock replacement has notes about 'use original eprom'.....since its the same unit can I just swap out the entire unit? any precautions needed for anyhting else or airbags, etc? THANKS

Generally 91-92 should be one in the same... I would try it and see if the car runs ok.. 91-92 really didn't have any changes... Gear ratio and or Supercharged could be the difference in those years...
Someone has installed an aftermarket PCM in that car if you have that sticker...
All you really have to do is take the access cover off the PCM's and swap the Mem-CAL's between them and you will have the one thats 100% correct for your car..
