Oh, and 24267, too! Why do they skip around so much?

Semi-finished sounds like either prepainted and decalled die cast.

Either that or the Tamiya product testers couldn't be arsed to finish their job and Tamiya decided to cash in:hehehe:

There is going to be a semi finished bike too, the new Honda race bike for 7200Y.

I remember Revell is doing a similar for a while now, with pre-painted and decalled bodies. I think a Merc and BMW were done like that. Well if the CLK is the 2000 "OT" I'm having bad luck...

The 1/12 F50 Diecast was 'semi-finished' too

semi-finish just like those FnF series by Revell. Body and decals are done up. I heard this last year, but ignore it because I think is not true. Now I do believe it. Heard that Tamiya will doing cars that mostly like semi-finish for most of the new items, but I do think that modelers do not like that idea, so they must be trying to test the market with those models.
Since Die-cast market is so big and in great profit, of course Tamiya will not let these $$$ run away. IMO, they try to join hand to hand in die-cast market. But to a modelers around the world, this is not a good start for Tamiya, my 2 SG cents.:( :(
