they should....the coilovers i have say they fit 88-00 civics just try and find out but i bet they do

It is always best to get springs made specificto the vehicle year. Otherwise you runthe risk of getting an improper spring rate. Which can give you either a super rough ride. Or a ride so soft you scrape the ground and get bad handling.

Hes right... 88-00 are the same springs, just different spring rates... in this case, the spring rate will be pretty stiff because 98 Civics are A LOT heavier then our 4th gens.
