Changing trans cooler lines

Alright, I feel like an idiot right now. I have a 2002 silverado, 5.3, 4x4, automatic. One of my trans cooler lines is quite rusty and sprung a leak.

I can't get the old line off.

My question is, how does the line attach to the trans and the radiator?

I slid back the plastic cover and thought I would see a clip of some kind but I don't. It is kind of rusty/dirty at both places and visibility/access is somewhat limited. I feel like a dumba$$!!!

I bought the new line already. Does anyone know if there's a place online that I can get a good view of the parts breakdown. If I saw that closeup I could probably figure it out.

Thanks to all who answer. Brian

OK, I figured it out.

Tiny clip in a groove hidden by rust & dirt.

SOME ADVICE- Get extra clips when purchasing your cooler line. These clips are small, I dropped one and had a hard time finding it.

OH, your welcome...for those who got a chuckle out of my situation:biggrin:.
