not starting

i have a 98 savana with 210,000 miles on it, i have checked the fuel pump and filter and both seem to be fine, i sprayed some starter fluid into the engine and it started and ran briefly but doesn't want to start without that, any ideas?

I'd be curious to see what fuel pressure is at.
