Hello all,

I am going to be changing out the Blend Door Actuator on my 1997 TC. The 97 TC has 113000 miles and I don't think the heater core has ever been replace. Is the heater core accessed from the same area within the dash? If so, I will replace it at the same time.

Regards,
Bert

Hi Bert, yes, but its not as easy as you think. There are a lot of steps involved for removing the heater core. I dont have time right this second to type it all out, but I have done dozens of these. If I am able to get free tomorrow I will repost here.

Thanks for the reply. I was not sure if this has been covered here or not. Any guidance would be greatly apprehended.

I used this excellent information to do the blend door also. I am not sure what else is involved to change out the heater core when the time comes.
