1999 blazer tailgate window not latching

Hello, my wifes has a 99 blazer. The rear window was hard to shut the other day. Now it won't even stay latched. The lights stay on inside truck, and on dash. Does anyone know how I would fix this. The latch inside gate moves, and shuts, its just not latching when all the way back. Thanks

Best way is to take the interior piece off the gate in the back and check and see what the latch looks like. It could be that the latch is damaged/broken and jsut needs to be replaced. Best place to start is to open it up and take a look at it.
