hi guys,
I have a 04 santa fe, bought at 34000 miles and now is 44000 miles, everything is good. but, yesterday, when I drive to Fedex, at a cross I slow down the car and find the light on the main board flash 1 or 2 time, and the car looks like loosing power but still working, then I keep going and turn right into a parking lot slowly. at that time, the engine stopped and the wheel locked. when I try to ignite the car again, it's hard to ignite or stopped soon after ignite, after several minuets and trying, it works again and I park the car and turn off the engine. after about 15 minuets I came out from fedex and ignite the car and drive back home, everything looks good it seem nothing had happened.
any ideas ?
Thanks

Crankshaft position sensor has probably started going bad.

I agree. They just laid that cable on a sharp surface and it wears it out. When I replaced mine I used some silicon to keep it in place so it would not happen again. Poor design. I have an 04 too.
