Started this a while ago, but haven't taken any pics until now. Unusually for me, I started it pretty much straight after I'd bought it.

The chrome parts were supplied with the kit - very effective, and perfect fit. Only modification as such was drilling out the holes in the steering wheel spokes.

I was tempted to wire the engine, but so little is visible once the body is on (only through the engine cover slats)

The whole kit:

The wheels are chrome, but have a gold wash to change the colour. The BMF on the window frames, decals for the headlamp surrounds and the rear lamps are all in place now. Just needs the badging decals etc and final assembly :)

Very nice, I like the in period orange colour! The Hasegawa Muira is a great kit.

Thanks! The colour choice of course has nothing to do with The Italian Job

This one is now done - click here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=6414942#post6414942) for the completed thread

Muira looks great. I have the kit finished in my collection but not as good as yours!

What brand kit is the Volvo?

Thanks! It's not perfect, but I reckon it presents well. Most importantly, I learnt quite a lot during the build :)

The Volvo is Tamiya's 850 GLT (roadgoing version of their 850 BTCC kit). Hopefully it will be complete within the next week or so, & I'll post up more about it then.
