1987 Buick Hearse

Hey all,
I am working on my friends Buick hearse . He bought it several years ago and some one before him had put a different engine in it. They told him it was a 350 out of a 442 Olds Cutless. :confused: :screwy:

Anyway, I know it isn't a 350 nor a 442. I am pretty sure it is a 307. Is there any way I can find out what size of engine this is for sure? Are there any stampings or codes on the block that will tell me?

Get the block casting number and try googling it.
