finaly finished evo7

I have finally finished the evo7 that has been a nightmare. i stuffed up the interior by mixing the wrong thinner to paint. and then the bugger would not sit level on the table. one wheel was out so checked the whole car everthing was right, so a bit of modification and sitting level and also lowered.

Looking good as your models always are. Is this the same Evo that you had lost inspiration for this time last year that you wanted to get finished for Grafton?

yeh this the one i'm still at the stage of keeping it or jumping on it i dont know yet. It may survive. her's a couple more pics which are taken at work at night need some day shots.

Give it time. You'll get there. If you junk it you will only regret it later just like you did when you sold your models at the shop that time.
Love the blue . What brand is that one? and what brand is the kit?

Is it a Fujimi kit cos my Fujimi 911 RS `73 would'nt sit level either, all sorts of fit problems, but it's an older kit.

It is a fujimi kit and the paint is Testors true blue and then covered in clear with real automotive blue pearl mixed in. its hard to see in pic i'll try to take one in daylight.

you think i had builders block i have passed it on to the big fella and he's bad as well if not worse.

Yep... VII & VIII have the same basic body. VI was the last of the old shape.

Great looking model! I'm just back into modeling after a 10 year break. If my first comeback model turns out anywhere near as nice as that, I'll be one happy little vegemite.... :cool:

The exhaust is accually a chrome cap of a bicycle brake cable or gear cable you buy a plastic bottle full of them for only a couple of bucks

Yep i have taken this one and a couple of others to work and like you guy's they all say keep it. i have a comp in a month i'll take it down for display.

i will also take some better pic's tommorow of the front and the other side which has nothing wrong with them;) ana shot of the interior

P.S. if it was not for you guy's the car would have been crushed buy now but i think i may keep it and hope my next project of meshing the stock Tamiya toyota supra and the denso race supra to make my own kind of fast and fabulas car i'll send pics
