Hello everybody. I was looking at my wifes coolant resevoir the other day and noticed that it was below the L line. The engine was hot and I was worried about it so I called the dealership and asked about the system and they said that it was normal and its a good sign that the engine is sucking in the coolant it needs.Well a few days later I checked it before it had been driven and it is even further down to the very bottom of the tank.I read in the manual that its supposed to be halfway between the f and l mark when cool. Should it be this low with only 17,000 miles and just about 2 years old?

Coolant at the bottom of tank is not normal, the level should never go below the low mark. You are losing coolant somewhere. Time to put that Hyundai warranty to work.
