Question about Service

So, I bought a 1994 325i a couple of months back...hands down the best car I've ever owned. Anyway, so its time to take it in for service (according to the yellow digital bar read out below the spedometer...and the miles I've put on it.) I called a local dealership, which I've been told is the best, and they told me it would be $200 to give my BMW Service. Ack! Is that too much? What are they going to do for $200 besides change the oil? Do I have any other options or is this normal? How often does one who puts about 300 highway miles a week take in thier BMW? Help!
