Question about racing championships

Is there a racing league or championship that took place recently that was hmm how do i put it, with no restrictions. I heard a few months back some guys talking about a racing championship without any rules, for example u know how in f1 there arent turbos no more but that was a thing of the 80s, well this was no rules so it was like to the fullest sorta deal :/ What's it called, the name the whatever :/ I wana see it O_O and whats the closest to that AND where may i download say lemans series videos i wana watch some racing :/ Kazaa maybe? tell me ;)
