:( I have a 98 Dodge Stratus and when it takes off it makes like a sputering noise and jerks like it's fixing to die. I have replaced almost everything under the hood including oxygen senser, spark plugs and the wires, and even the fuel pump and filter. I know it's not the gas or anything in the gas, can someone please help me...:(

Hello Marsha
Seems like a vacuum problem. Check the vacuum hoses. Some of them crack over the years and because of the temperature inside the engine compartment. Let me know how it work out.

Is this a V6 or a 4cyl engine? I'm guessing a 4cyl. Has the timing belt been replaced and maybe out 1 or 2 teeth? or has it got high mileage and a worn timing belt and tired tensioner. This can cause vacuum problems. Is the check engine light on? Worn potentiometer contacts inside the Throttle position sensor can cause this too. But it will take special tools to prove this.
